Shearwater is an independent advisory firm that delivers strategic consulting for the finance of hedge fund portfolios. It also offers reviews and independent certification of prime brokerage on behalf of hedge funds. Shearwater came to Duality Studio for a complete redesign of their visual identity and asked us to produce a suite of communication tools to present their work and services to clients and prospects.
The new visual identity is contemporary and confident with elegant, refined undertones. Inspired by iconic black and white architectural photography, we worked with a palette of deep blue and pale gray. The muted tones, crafted typography and graceful imagery reflect the solid, grounded approach of their research and advisory services.
We worked closely with our client to design printed and digital presentations comprising diagrams and tables. This simplified some of the more complex working processes and packages in a visually pleasing and digestible format.
